one of my favorite healthy TJ's items is the Greens, Beans and Grains. (frozen) It's based on a West African peanut stew, although it's mostly chickpeas, and is paired with couscous. It's vegetarian, loaded with flavor and has a bit of heat to it. Tasty, healthy, filling and $2.99? Give it a try if you haven't.
TJs has so many healthy products! Right now i'm loving the canned cuban black beans. All the prepped raw veggies are great for snacks and the various frozen fruits i buy for smoothies. Agree with above poster, the beans and greens is delicious! I like even more greens so i serve it over a bowl of spinach that wilts with the hot beans over it Ttrockwood
Oh jeez! You haven't tried those?? They're really delicious and stupid cheap- perfect for anything from beans and rice to breakfast tacos with an egg... Ttrockwood
